what happened to the good ole days in here?

I am one of those crazy facebook people. But I do check in here every so often to see what my friends are up to! Was excited when you said you had created a facebook page where we could all chat...since it was apparent no one was posting here. However, I could never figure out where the page was ...there were too many other people claiming to have a KC facebook page. Could you give us a link so we can all meet up at the right place.

Y'all are as important to me as you ever were! So, I really want to know how things are going for you and if you or any of the band/crew have prayer requests, please let me know. Thanks for all you do every day of the year!

I'm another of the crazy facebook people...ok, so maybe I'm just crazy... but when I used to post in here, almost no one ever replied to any questions.

Leeann...it's one that has the title of "KC and the Sunshine Band "Offical Page"" with a pic of KC in a muscle shirt with a great smile. His nieces are on it,too, if that helps.

I also remember the good old days about 5 or 6 years back when a lot more people used to post.

I had noticed that everyone went to facebook and I stopped posting as much as before...had to do
the "NEW" thing facebook....I like facebook ok but I am not a real big creature on change...I always say if it works and I like it... keep it.... I hope everyone does follow on to facebook....for those who wish not to...it's been great....take care and God Bless.....Gale

I miss the good ole days too. I'll admit I am into FB, but I do check into here sometimes. I have noticed it moving slowly. I've posted birthday wishes here recently. I like to post about concerts, but haven't been to one in a long time. I'm sure it will start picking up soon as people will go to concerts when they start picking up over the Spring and Summer. (If Spring and Summer ever get here!!) My school was closed today..AGAIN due to snow!!

No worries, it will pick up again soon. :)

I don't post much although I do check in fairly regularly especially the concert page. I miss the old days too. Does anyone remember the time we played " a fantasy date with KC"...things got a little warm. I haven't been to many shows in the last year and a half. My son in law lost his job so I have been helping them out.

I would like to go to the show at the Hard Rock in Ms. but the last time I got off work and drove straight there, they had to pick me up off the floor, just lucky I didn't land on anyone. Guess I will have to wait till Atlanta or when there is one on a Saturday nearby.

I was the girl who used to ask questions like "what would you do with KC in 24 hours?" or "which KC song is your favorite one?". Yep, that old days are gone. I wanted to continue with the "tradition", but many people left the message board for different reasons, some of them because of some fights and disagreements, some others because of luck of time, etc. I have good memories here on the MB, I have met a lot of people here, I really felt great when KC send me some b-day wishes (thanks KC), I shared some good and hilarius moments with some trivia questions....so many reasons why I want THE OLD DAYS BACK!

I am no fan of Facebook. Despite all the people who have been hounding me to join I just haven't found the motivation to do so.

I miss the days when this board was booming with activity and the chatroom full at every hour. Everyone will come in posting about getting ready for shows and post their reviews of the shows. The crazy games, the crazy names. The trout. (Yea Hatch I'm talkin to you :P) We were all like family chatting and posting up here everyday. We didn't have MySpace, Facebook or Twitter, not even YouTube. My how time and technology have changed things.

I have this site at my job and checked in this afternoon to find all these wonderful posts. It's great to see my friends again on the board, if only for a moment.

Well, enough of my waxing philosophical. Keep the posts coming!

Lee Anne has a great point...but still, no one's been in the chat room when I check in. Although I have to admit, I check in at weird hours because of my job.
